Usage Agreement

Effective Date: June 28, 2025

These Terms of Service apply to all Synsto websites, applications, and related services (collectively, "Sites"). All content, including text, images, designs, and multimedia, is owned by Synsto or its licensors and protected by international copyright laws, including the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.

By using the Sites, you agree to these Terms of Service, which, together with Synsto’s policies and updates, form the "Agreement." If you disagree with these terms, please exit the Sites immediately. Content is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

Updates to Terms

Synsto may revise these Terms of Service at its discretion. Updates take effect 24 hours after posting on the Sites. Continued use of the Sites after changes implies your acceptance. Additional terms may apply to specific services, such as editorial or publishing submissions.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Sites, including manuscripts, graphics, and editorial materials, is protected by the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, and Trademark Act, 1999. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify content without Synsto’s written permission, except for downloadable materials intended for personal use, provided copyright notices remain intact.

Access and Usage Rights

Synsto grants you a non-exclusive, revocable license to access the Sites for personal, non-commercial purposes. Unauthorized actions may result in termination of access.

Trademarks and Branding

Synsto’s trademarks, logos, and service marks are protected under the Trademark Act, 1999. You may not use these without prior written consent. Links to the Sites are permitted if they do not misrepresent Synsto’s services or reputation.

Third-Party Links

The Sites may include links to external websites for convenience. Synsto does not endorse or control these sites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

Payment Terms

For purchases on the Sites, Synsto or its partners will process payments via your chosen method. You confirm authorization to use the payment method provided. Users are responsible for any internet or telecommunication costs incurred.

Editorial Standards

Synsto upholds international editorial standards, including compliance with APA, MLA, and Chicago styles. Users submitting manuscripts or editorial content must adhere to ethical guidelines, avoiding plagiarism, AI misuse, or misrepresentation. All submissions are subject to review and must respect global publishing ethics.

User-Generated Content

Users may submit content, such as manuscripts or feedback, where invited ("User Content"). By submitting, you grant Synsto a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, edit, and distribute your content. User Content must:

• Be original or have necessary permissions for use.
• Not violate intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Avoid offensive, defamatory, or illegal material.
• Not disrupt Site functionality or security.

Synsto may remove User Content at its discretion. Submissions are non-confidential, and Synsto is not liable for their use or disclosure.

Account Responsibilities

If you register, you must provide accurate information and secure your account. You are responsible for all activities under your account and must report unauthorized use to Synsto immediately. Synsto may suspend accounts with inaccurate information.

Termination of Access

Synsto may terminate or suspend your access to the Sites for violations of these terms or actions harmful to Synsto or other users. Your obligations under this Agreement persist after termination.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Your interaction with and navigation of the Sites is at your sole risk. Synsto provides all content, including editorial services, manuscripts, and other offerings, on an "as is" basis without any warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a specific purpose, or non-infringement. Synsto does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any content, including editorial submissions or published materials, nor does it warrant that the Sites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Synsto, its affiliates, vendors, or licensors shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Sites, including but not limited to damages from errors, omissions, interruptions, data loss, viruses, or unauthorized access to Synsto’s systems, records, or services. This includes any reliance on content, such as editorial feedback or manuscript reviews, provided through the Sites. You assume full responsibility for any costs related to necessary repairs, corrections, or servicing resulting from Site use.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Synsto and its affiliates, vendors, or licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your access to or use of the Sites, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, even if Synsto has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions where the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability is not permitted, these exclusions may not apply. Synsto’s total liability to you for all claims, losses, or damages related to this Agreement or your use of the Sites will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for accessing the Sites or purchasing services or content, including editorial or publishing services.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Synsto and its affiliates against any claims, costs, or legal fees arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the Sites.

Governing Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Indian law, with disputes subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi. Synsto may choose arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Complete Agreement

This Agreement is the full understanding between you and Synsto, replacing any prior agreements.
